Mixed-media sculpture, relief, and nature-based studies.

Work rooted in natural architecture, hidden histories, material transformation, and the beauty behind complicated things.
Kimmy Ellinwood creates mixed-media sculpture, relief work, and nature-based studies that explore transformation, nonhuman architecture, hidden interiors, and the uneasy histories embedded in beautiful forms.
Her current work includes The Daubers, a modular sculptural series inspired by the chambered nests of mud dauber wasps, and Nature Studies, a quieter body of observational work rooted in natural forms, seasonal fragments, and close attention.
