Work
Ellinwood's work moves between sculpture, relief, and study. Using clay, paper, wire, fiber, acrylic, and found materials, she creates objects that often begin in natural forms but shift toward something more psychological: a chamber, a relic, a record, a shelter, a trap, a message.
Current bodies of work include The Daubers and Nature Studies. Together, they form two doors into the same house: one more sculptural and uncanny, the other more observational and accessible. Both are concerned with attention, transformation, and the stories held inside ordinary forms.
